About

Welcome to Not The Droids.

My name is Chris Glynne.  I work at a major Canadian wireless operator.  I have been working in Canadian Wireless for over 12 years and have had the opportunity to work for two different wireless carriers during this time in a variety of roles.  My focus for the past 10 years has been Data Services.  No. I am not responsible for the price of wireless in Canada so don’t email me ranting about how much of a ripoff data access rates are.  You will get no argument from me.

One of my goals with Not The Droids is to try and prevent the success of the Jedi Mind Trick that major corporations often perform.  I will ask questions and provide viewpoints for various topics that interest me where I feel I have a perspective.  I won’t always be right and am open to alternative viewpoints.

My other goal is to offer insights into many challenges that we all face in our lives in the hopes that I can provide some useful food for thought that can help you grow personally.  I have had the opportunity to work with a few life coaches over the years and have learned that we all need help if we are going to grow as people.  The most successful people in their fields have coaches.  People like Tiger woods and Lance Armstrong have help from people who can point out areas for improvement.

Read, Digest, Review, Challenge, Question.

That’s all I ask of you.  Feel free to disagree with my viewpoint in a constructive manner and I will lend an ear.  Who knows, you may win me over with your argument.  I am not above admitting when I am wrong.

Above all, please provide feedback so I can know if these perspectives are resonating with you.

Thanks

Chris
